The prize competition: "DRESS YOUR VISION – Alcantara is on board", referred to in these Regulations ("Competition"), is promoted by Auto&Design S.r.l., with registered office in Turin, 10122, Via Pietro Egidi 6, Tax Code and VAT No. 02433250012 ("A&D") and by Alcantara S.p.A., with registered office in Milan, 20138, Via Mecenate 86, Tax Code and VAT No. 00835580150, as an associated company ("Alcantara") (hereinafter, jointly, the "Promoters").
The Competition is open to aspiring designers, students and lovers of car design from anywhere in the world, who are strictly non-professionals and 18-years old as of their enrolment ("Contestants").
The Competition lasts from 31/03/2021 to 03/12/2021 ("Duration").
The Competition is aimed at the Contestants identified in point 2 above. The activities relating to the Competition are carried out in the region of the State. The server, on which the data collection system for Contestants is allocated, is also situated within the latter.
The Competition Contestants are invited to devise design proposals for future mobility, which use the Alcantara material in an innovative way ("Projects" or, individually, "Project").
The Projects must respond to the Alcantara brand values (i.e. Global Brand, Made in Italy, Exclusive Tailor-made approach, Relationships with Art, Design and Creativity, Commitment to Sustainability), as described in the relevant section of the Competition website, which can be consulted at the following link www.dressyourvisioncontest.com ("Website").
You may send a maximum of four images relating to each Project. The overall dimensions of the submission cannot exceed 20Mb in total and 5Mb per individual file.
As a reference standard for Project presentation technique, we refer you to the content regularly published in the magazine Auto&Design of A&D, in the pages dedicated to the Transportation Design schools.
The Projects must be submitted individually; projects developed by teams composed of several people are not permitted. Each participating Contestant may only submit one Project.
The Projects must be uploaded to the Website by and not after 31/08/2021 ("Submission Terms"). The Projects sent after the Submission Terms will not be taken into consideration.
When you send the Project, you must fill in the participation form in the dedicated area of the Website.
The Promoters will select 10 Project finalists ("Finalists") from those Projects sent within the Submission Terms. The Finalists will be identified in a totally impartial manner, and in compliance with the principles of equal treatment and opportunities in relation to Contestants participating in the Competition. The following criteria will be taken into consideration in order to select the Finalists:

This phase will take place in the presence of a notary, in compliance with what is set forth in Art. 9, para. 1 of Presidential Decree 430/2001, as subsequently amended and supplemented.
The names and an extract from the Projects of the Finalists will be published on the Website, as well as on the following channels:
The names of the Finalists will also be provided to media organisations in a press release by 29/10/2021.
The Finalists will be assessed by a jury composed of:
In order to identify the Project winner, each member of the Jury will indicate, from among the 10 Project Finalists, the 3 Projects that s/he believes best responds to the Criteria.
Each member of the Jury will attribute to each of the above-mentioned 3 Projects a position in the ranking according to the classified order 1^, 2^, 3^ ("Rankings"). The Rankings correspond to the points listed below:
The Project that obtains the highest number of points as a result of the Jury’s assessment, which is final and irrevocable, will win the Competition ("Winner").
This phase will take place in the presence of a notary, in compliance with what is set forth in Art. 9, para. 1 of Presidential Decree 430/2001, as subsequently amended and supplemented.
On 03/12/2021 ("Date of Announcement"), the name and the Project of the Winner will be published on the Website, as well as on the following channels:
The name of the Winner will also be made known to media organisations in a press release by 03/12/2021.
The Winner will be invited to participate in the prize ceremony (in person or remotely).
The Winner will receive as a prize:
(hereinafter, jointly, the "Prizes").
The indicative value of the A&D Prize, estimated based on the public sale price, is equal to 460.00 Euro (four hundred and sixty/00).
The indicative value of the Alcantara Prize is equal to 700.00 Euro (seven hundred/00).
The A&D Prize will be delivered via post to the address indicated by the Winner. The digital-format Auto&Design magazine will be displayed on and downloaded from the personal area of the internet site www.autodesignmagazine.com on which the Winner will have to register following the awarding of the A&D Prize.
Alcantara and the Winner will agree together on a date for the visit that is included in the Alcantara Prize.
It remains understood that the Prizes will be delivered or, in any case, made available no longer than 6 months from the Date of Announcement, in compliance with what is set forth in the Decree of the President of the Republic (DPR) no. 430/2001, as amended and supplemented.
Pursuant to art. 7, paragraph 1, point a) of the DPR no. 430/2001, as amended and supplemented, a security deposit will be set aside for an amount equal to 100% of the total value of the Prizes.
The Prizes that are not requested or awarded, other than those refused, will be donated to Save the Children, with registered office in Rome, 00184, Piazza di San Francesco di Paola 9, Tax Code 97227450158 / VAT no. 07354071008.
The Projects sent will not be returned and may be freely used by the Promoters, including for their own promotional and/or commercial ends with any means and without geographical or temporal limitations, without prejudice to the commitment of the latter to always indicate the name of the participant who created the Project. By participating in the Competition, each Contestant also grants Alcantara, without payment, all rights to the economic use of her/his Project to enable the industrial/commercial creation thereof, including the rights to change it, adapt it, and create projects derived from it.
Each participant in the Competition declares and guarantees that the Project presented is original and is the product of their own inventive and/or creative work and that, in any case, it does not violate any right, including of industrial or intellectual property, of third parties. As a consequence, each participant undertakes to indemnify and hold harmless the Promoters from any claim and/or action of third parties, damage, cost and/or expense that the latter might suffer as a result of the use of the Projects received in the context of the Competition.
The Promoters declare that they renounce the right to reimbursement of the withholding tax pursuant to Art. 30 of the DPR 600/1973 in favour of the Winner.
The personal data of the Competition participants ("Personal Data") will be processed by the Promoters in compliance with the Regulation (EU) no. 679/2016 ("GDPR") and with the national privacy regulations (Legislative Decree 196/2003, as amended and supplemented). In particular, the processing of Personal Data will be performed by the Promoters as joint controllers of the processing, according to what is indicated in the privacy policy published on the Website ("Privacy Policy").
By sending her/his Project, each participant declares that s/he has read and understood the above-mentioned Privacy Policy. The duties and responsibilities of A&D and Alcantara in relation to the processing of Personal Data are regulated through the special joint-controller agreement pursuant to Art. 26 GDPR made available on the Website.
These Regulations are published on the Website. A reference to the same will, in addition, be included in the channels used for the purposes of the related promotion, in particular:
The original version of the Regulations is stored at A&D’s registered office.
The dates indicated in these Regulations may be subject to changes. Any change or addition to these Regulations will be communicated to the Ministry of Economic Development and brought to the attention of the Contestants according to what is set forth in Art. 10 of the DPR no. 430/2001, as amended and supplemented.
It remains understood that any changes and additions to the Regulations will not violate the rights acquired by the Competition participants.

Participation in the Competition is completely free, except for Internet connection costs that are the responsibility of the participant according to the tariffs applied by her/his operator. By participating in the Competition, the participant accepts this Regulation in all of its parts.
In no case may the Prizes be converted into cash. The Winner may not request the delivery of different Prizes or according to conditions other than those included in the Regulations. The Promoters reserve the right to replace the Prizes with other ones of equal value and quality.
To the maximum extent allowed by the law, the Promoters do not assume any responsibility in relation to the use and/or enjoyment of the Prizes by the Winner.
Equally, the Promoters do not assume any responsibility for any problem regarding access, impediment, malfunction, or difficulty regarding the technical tools, connection, Internet connection that may hinder the Contestants from accessing the Website and participating in the Competition.
Regarding what is not expressly set forth in these Regulations, the DPR no. 430/2001, as amended and supplemented, will apply.
